 Nose piercing
« Thread Started on Sept 9, 2002, 9:11am »

Hi, I feel a little embarassed asking that, but is there diferent nose piercing jewelery for each side of the nose? I was wearing a hook for years, but today I changed it to a shorter one because the old one could always be seen from the outside. So my question is: My old hook's curve was showing outside, but my new ones is to the inside, that means when I look inside my nose I can see the end of the hook, not the curve... Does that mean they put in the wrong jewelery for this side of the nose or is it okay like that? Please somebody give me fast advice on that... Thank you!

Hi there,
It's a good thing that nose studs are all the same for both sides. If the end is too long, clip it shorter with clippers and file the rough edges down, or bend it the way you need it. Voila, that should be the answer.

If I were you I would just wait and save up the money to get it done. Better safe than sorry. I saved up the money to get my belly button done by emptying all my pocket change into a savings jar at the end of each day. It took a little while but it really adds up faster than u think.

No, all the nose jewellery is identical. And I've pierced my ear cartilage myself twice actually and I've had no problems with either of 'em. Just be sure your needle is sterile of course though.
